First-person shooters are still on the top. The year 2018 was full of great games of the genre, for example - Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, Battlefield V and Far Cry 5. These and many other titles included a range of single player campaigns, fast multiplayer games and experimental Battle Royale modes. The first-person shooter games line from 2019 looks even more exciting than in the previous year. Here is a list of all the noteworthy first person shooter games that will hit the gaming systems in 2019.
Before B.J. Blazkowicz will be able to bring his anti-Nazi crusade to an end, his twin daughters must first find him. This interesting story is the base for the next title of the Wolfenstein series. Wolfenstein: Youngblood, which takes place 19 years after The New Colossus, putting you (and hopefully a friend willing to cooperate) in the 80's. As Jess or Soph, you and another online fighter will wade through the Nazi forces to free people. In this new Wolfenstein spin-off, there will be a lot of groundbreaking moments and a lot of bloody deaths.
This is the most-awaited sequel of all. It turns out that Gearbox Software has spent years secretly creating Borderlands 3, a mega sequel that will provide more fun and more crazy enemies to overcome. Players can connect with three other Vault Hunters as they explore Pandora and eventually jump into their spaceship for interplanetary travels. A new four-man Borderlands 3 team (Amara, Moze, Zane and FL4K) is ready to get rid of Troy and Tyreen Calypso of the world.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
Things seem to be a bit different in this year's edition of Call of Duty. One of the main differences between this part and Black Ops 4 created in 2018 is relying on a completely new graphics engine. The new engine provides an even cleaner presentation in the visual department. This reboot of the Modern Warfare sub-series looks like a story which can breathe life into the Call of Duty series. A single player campaign has been added. There is also a great online multiplayer mode and additional cooperation modes which are certainly something we will be playing with for a long time.
